http:////xmlrpc.php Error in Windows Live writer while setting up a windows live writer, you may notice an Xmlparce error.  

//xmlrpc.php">http://<hostname>/<wp_path>/xmlrpc.php This error occurs because of two issues:

• Xmlrpc not enabled for your blog
• Proxy error

I have faced the proxy error while setting up. And i researched to fix this issue, finally i had solved the problem. I will show you how to fix the two issues.

Login to your wordpress admin dashboard, goto Settings>Writing under the remote publishing just check mark the XML-RPC. (i.e. refer the image)

This is used to enable the remote publishing and to connect your blog. If you

still getting the error.

Replace the http://<hostname>/<wp_path>/xmlrpc.php with

• http://www.your-domain-name/xmlrpc.php
• or http://www.your-domain-name/your-folder/xmlrpc.php

Locate your blog installed address.
